What a conference! Over 300 attendees enjoying four days of beautiful weather in One of the most important pronouncements coming out of Conference was the revelation of the new volume pricing schedule for PROCESS EXPO 2008. Below is a news release that contains the details of the plan. Let us take this opportunity to focus your attention on some important features and dates for 2008. n Compare the amount of space you take at a competitive trade show with our volume pricing. What did you pay at the competitive show? How much space would you have (including drayage costs) at PROCESS EXPO at the same price? (FPSA, In an effort to help exhibitors control costs while displaying their product line in the most effective manner, the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) recently announced the price schedule for PROCESS EXPO 2008. The new volume pricing schedule includes drayage for move-in and move-out. The new member price schedule is as follows: 100 sq. ft. to 499 sq.ft. $23 per sq.ft. (no increase over '07 rate) 500 sq.ft. to 999 sq.ft. $18 per sq.ft. 1000 sq.ft. to 1499 sq.ft. $15 per sq.ft. 1500 sq.ft. and over $12 per sq.ft. Viggo Nielsen, Chairman of the Board of FPSA and President of Mettler-Toledo Safeline added, "Encouraging and rewarding exhibitors who bring the latest and the best to attract customers is what PROCESS EXPO is about." Asked how this new price schedule will affect his company, Chairman of the EXPO Committee, Gene Teeter of Meyer Industries discussed the rationale for the change. "Building a tradeshow is similar to building a mall. If you have the right anchor stores in place; all the other stores benefit from the draw of the anchors. This price schedule makes it very attractive to the anchor companies at PROCESS EXPO and all exhibitors and visitors to the show will benefit."
